As part of its Conditional Cash Transfer program, the federal government is adding retired and former military personnel to the National Social Register.

Additionally, recipients who are no longer deemed impoverished are being removed.

Saturday Punch was informed that the government was eliminating deceased recipients from the registry and that applications from individuals lacking a national identity number or a bank verification number would not be accepted.

It was also found that the beneficiaries will not require consultants because they will get payments straight from the Central Bank of Nigeria. Starting the following week, five million homes are anticipated to receive the first wave of bulk payments.

An endeavor to enhance the lives of those with disabilities, the National Social Investment Program includes the Federal Government’s Conditional Cash Transfer Program.
